Beaufront Park office development in the town of Hexham was completed and fully occupied in 2005. It houses the main
office of Property Design Matters Ltd along with Milecastle Housing, Northumbria Larder, and Halcyon Holdings.. The inovative design is
based on a series of octogons surrounding a glazed atrium, each "pod" providing
around 900sq ft of office space. Each space has been designed around each individual clients requirements, whether that
be open plan or broken down into bright spacious areas using glazed walling. The concept of using the octagonal shape for the building
was origionally percieved by Gordon Currie and was designed so that the building followed the sun as the day moved forward,
one of the many sides of the building would always draw the sun and therefore bring natural light into the workspace.
The development sits beside the A69 for excellent access to Newcastle and the A1 to the East and Carlisle and the
M6 to the West. The site upon which the offices sit has been completely designed and built by
Property Design Matters Ltd and provides a perfect excample of our ability to produce an exceptional building which
offers a professional working environment in a bright, vibrant space.
