Originally the Vicarage for Hexham Abbey, Eilansgate House is a stone built dwelling originating from the mid 1800's.
The property was then converted into flats in the mid 1960's and was in need of a complete renovation when Property Design Matters Ltd
purchased it in late 2004.
We proceeded to refurbish the property in early 2005 with the complete gutting of the internals. A new layout was designed providing two

While the interior of the property has been totally re-modelled and re built, the exterior of the building has been faithfully preserved to the original layout.
We have gone to great lengths to preserve the design and character of the original building, restoring the original style of sliding sash windows and restoring
the natural stonework. The property sits in wonderful mature grounds with mature trees and managed gardens.
