This is a site on Elwick Road in Hartlepool. The site is currently part of a large garden to the dwelling Shu Lin. We were instructed by our clients to provide a scheme for 17Nr 2 & 3 bed high specification apartments. The site sits in the Hartlepool conservation area where the typical dwelling type is of a large executive style with a large garden area. The proposals have been designed so as to fit comfortably within the conservation area and mimick the proportions of two large Mansions. The brick, roofing materials and surface finishes have been chosen to match those of the surrounding dwellings. The copse of trees and the trees to the boundaries of the site have been retained to form a natural screen to the green belt to the south and the neighbouring dwellings to the North. The scheme is currentely being considered by Hartlepool Planning Department and we look forward to providing the working drawings for the develoment on approval.
